Research Overview

Our mission is to harness multiscale flow and deformation principles to (i) elucidate mechanical mechanisms governing cell, tissue and organ functions; and (ii) engineer complex fluids and soft structures to improve human health and beyond.

Our research tackle engineering challenges in emerging biotechnology with the fundamentals of transport phenomena and soft matter. We utilize a variety of theoretical, computational and in vitro techniques and work closely with other research labs and companies.
